We enjoy this life. When we first laid eyes on the place we thought it was too good to be true. Built around 1900, the bank barn is a wonderful piece of American heritage. There is still work to be done, but we are making improvements all the time.
    We have what we like to call "Well Rounded Horses". We enjoy a variety of different venues of activities. We love to trailride, play at a little contesting, still show a little, and our favorite is ranch work and sorting.
      We raise cattle, Longhorns and beef calves. The first longhorns were born at Gold Star Acres in 2007 and now we purchase new calves every year. We like to have enough calves to be able to do some sorting.
